After 33 years of marriage I finally broke down and bought some china. I got this 16 place setting set at a yard sale. It is Taihei China made in Japan. The design is Springtime. It also came with a covered vegetable dish. Now I just need to find an oval serving platter.
Goodbye Chef Tess. We Miss You Already.

Very pretty!! I've been looking at China, but I don't think I'll get any til I have a place to put it and kids who won't break it. So what's going to happen to the desert rose stuff? *hopeful look*
Yard sales are the way to go. I almost bought some china in Chicago. It was $70 for the whole 12 place settings. We were just about to move to California so it didn't seem like the right time.
I'm keeping the Desert Rose, sorry. I only paid $65 for this. I thought it was a pretty good deal. Only one of the dinner plates had a chip on it. We'll see how long that lasts.
