I didn't know cranberries could taste this good!

I am the only one at my house who really likes cranberries so I buy a can each Thanksgiving and then have way too much for me to eat. This year I decided I would look for a recipe for home bottle cranberry sauce and found this one. It is way better than the stuff from the store and I can put it in a small enough jar that I can finish it before it goes bad. Here is the recipe for those of you who really like cranberry sauce. I put mine is small, one cup jars.

Spiced Cranberries
2 lbs cranberries
1 1/3 cups vinegar
2/3 cup water
4 cups sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
Cook cranberries in syrup made by combining vinegar, water, sugar and spices. Bring to a boil; simmer, uncovered, 20 minutes.
Continue simmering while quickly filling one hot jar at a time to within 1/2 inch from top. Make certain syrup covers fruit. Adjust lid on each hot jar at once. Process in boiling water bath (212 degrees F) 5 minutes. Remove jars from canner and complete seals unless closures are the self-sealing type. Makes 4 pints.
